MOVIE NIGHT – “Heaven Falls”

This month’s movie is “Heaven’s Fall,” the 2006 true story of the arrest, conviction and subsequent Supreme Court retrial of the Scottsboro Boys, nine African American hoboes pulled from an Atlanta train in 1931 and accused of raping two white women. The case is described as a story of “epic injustice” that “ultimately changed the course of American jurisprudence.”
